How has Letters of Hope impacted you?

We need your help to show others how valuable Letters of Hope is, and you could win a $100 Visa gift card for sharing your story.

Your video will be part of our Kindness is Contagious campaign, launching this July, where we’ll be spotlighting real stories from our community to celebrate the ripple effect of kindness.

Whether you’ve received or requested a letter, or volunteered your time with us, your experience matters. Every voice helps keep Letters of Hope alive and reminds the world why kindness matters.

How to Enter

  1. Record a short video (60 seconds or less) sharing how receiving, requesting, or volunteering with Letters of Hope has impacted you. Videos can be shared from the perspective of a volunteer, someone who requested a letter, or someone who received one.

  2. Send your video to us via Instagram, Facebook Messenger, or email (using Dropbox or something similar if needed).

  3. Make sure your video is received by Friday 13 June 2025.

  4. A winner will be randomly selected and announced on Monday 16 June 2025.

Tips for Recording your Video

  • No need for fancy tech, your phone camera is perfect

  • Film in a quiet spot with good lighting

  • Speak from the heart, we’re not after polished, just real!

  • Keep it to 60 seconds or less

  • Here are some examples of how you might start your video:

    "As a volunteer, I love writing letters because..."
    "I requested a letter for my mum when..."
    "I received a letter when I really needed one..."
