All of our Letters of Hope are handwritten by a team of volunteers which makes them so special.

It's not often that you receive something that is handwritten in the mail these days.

Not only are they handwritten but they are created with love and k
We are so lucky at Letters of Hope to have over 600 thoughtful and committed volunteers writing letters for us each day. 

Every single one of these letters has the potential to change the world. 

Through spreading kindness and raising awareness aro When you request a Letter of Hope, either for yourself or for someone else, there is absolutely no expectation for you to write one back. 

Letters of Hope are written unconditionally, with love and kindness, and with nothing expected in return.

Letters of Hope is facing some serious funding and sustainability challenges right now. With the current economic downturn, our workplace mental health services - which usually help fund our free programs - have taken a hit, and i This is a gentle reminder to let you know that your wellbeing is of upmost importance. 

In fact it should be your number one priority.

Being well is your superpower, it helps you to  cope during the tough times.

It was so wonderful to see this event take place and to know that we are making a positive impact in other countries as w Many people don't realise that 1 in 6 Australian workers are dealing with mental illnesses at any given time?

It's important to know this in order to reduce the myths and misunderstandings about mental illness. 

Reducing the stigma around mental he It takes courage to walk away from things that are not serving you well.

Walking away does not mean you are quitting, or you are weak.

It means you are brave enough to put yourself first and that is the greatest gift you can give yourself.

#mental The @blackdoginst has a simple technique called 5,4,3,2,1 to help you when you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed. 

All you need to do is hit the pause button, take a few deep breaths and follow the technique.

It's a wonderful way to help you to br It's a fact of life that not everything will work out for you. 

It's ok to feel disheartened, sad, angry or frustrated about this.
These feelings are perfectly normal.

What matters most though, is how you pick yourself up from this. 

Always rememb It's a wonderful gift knowing that a Letter of Hope can make such a positive difference in lifting the spirits of someone feeling a bit down.
